The Penn State Alumni Association - Montgomery County Chapter cordially invites you to join us on Wednesday, June 18th at 6PM at Normandy Farms in Blue Bell, PA  for a night celebrating Joe Paterno.

On October 29, 2011, Joe Paterno achieved the milestone: “Winningest Coach of Division I College Football.” The dictum ‘Success with Honor’ was Joe’s mantra to his players for over four decades.

Daniel Duffy, a local artist, has created artwork honoring the JoePa legacy at Penn State. The 409 wins serve as the focal point of the piece.

The original artwork will be presented to Sue, Jay, and Diana Paterno during this event.

Tickets for this event are $59.95 and include a Tuscan Dinner Buffet.

Penn State Smeal College of Business seeking volunteers

We are seeking your assistance with a new service we now offer to alumni and current students. SmealConnect - the new online career service - offers alumni - specific job postings from companies interested in hiring Smeal graduates. It also offers a career resource to current students.

On this site, alumni can register to give career advice to current students - here’s where we are seeking your assistance. The way it works is, students may search for alumni who have offered to give advice and who have similar backgrounds and experiences, and reach out to them for advice. Students typically have questions about career decisions and other business topics.

I encourage you to consider getting involved in SmealConnect - your involvement will help our students in their career planning. You may get started by accessing the complete SmealConnect registration instructions. For more information on SmealConnect, please contact Smeal’s Alumni Relations Office at 814-865-7831 or via e-mail at
